Drafts (Formerly Configurations)

The Drafts page lists all draft configurations that have been started but not yet fully submitted as a quotation request.

A configuration contains only the configuration data (the selected options and settings from the configurator), but does not include the completed request fields such as customer details or contact information.

Because of this, configurations are considered drafts — they can be resumed, edited, or eventually submitted to become a Quote.

This page is primarily used to manage, review, and reopen draft configurations.

Search and Filters

  • Search bar – Quickly locate specific configurations by entering a name, ID, or keyword.
  • Reset button – Clears all filters and search terms to show the full list.

Table Columns

The default table contains the following columns:

ColumnDescription
#Unique configuration ID.
UserThe user who created the draft configuration.
NameThe name given to the configuration project.
UpdatedDate and time when the configuration was last updated.
CreatedDate and time when the configuration was originally created.
ActionsQuick tools to manage the configuration (see full details below).

Actions

Each row in the Actions column includes the following options:

  • Open Configuration – Reopens the draft configuration in the frontend configurator so you can continue working on it.
  • Preview – Displays the configuration in a read-only mode to see what has been selected so far.
  • Edit – Opens the configuration in edit mode for making changes.
  • Delete – Permanently removes the configuration from the system.

Pagination

You can choose how many entries to display per page using the entries per page selector at the bottom of the table.
Available options are:

  • 10 (default)
  • 25
  • 50
  • 100
  • All (shows all configurations in a single view)

Use the pagination controls to move between pages when the selected view does not include all configurations.

Best Practices

  • Review configurations regularly to ensure important drafts are not forgotten.
  • Use Open Configuration to quickly continue a draft in the frontend without starting from scratch.
  • Delete unused drafts to keep the list clean and manageable.
  • Encourage users to submit drafts as Quotation Requests once all required request fields have been filled out.
